Particular interpretación de la Biblia

Cuando a algunos dogmáticos se les critica por seguir el buen libro y se les mencionan textualmente determinados pasajes absurdos, políticamente incorrectos o que pueden fomentar conductas de antivalores, se escudan con el argumento:
"Es que ese pasaje se debe interpretar".

Bien, veamos como ejemplo la interpretación de Levítico 20:13, versión King James (hay más de una traducción [1]):

"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them".


 Veamos la de Common English Bible:

"If a man has sexual intercourse with a man as he would with a woman, the two of them have done something detestable. They must be executed; their blood is on their own heads."



Traducidos rápidamente al español: Hay que matar gays.


Pero veamos esta otra versión:

"If a man lays with another man, he should be stoned."

(Si un hombre se acuesta con otro, éste debe estar "drogado").
Como ven, se legalizan el matrimonio gay y el consumo de sustancias alucinógenas en un solo pasaje.
Estábamos interpretando mal la biblia, je je je.
